CHRIS BRADFORD VISITS PEMBROKESHIRE
Lucky members of Pembroke School's Year 8 'Rocking Readers' and Year 9 lunchtime reading group recently had the opportunity to meet Chris Bradford, author of Young Samurai: The Way of the Warrior, at Haverfordwest Library.
Find out more about Chris' action-packed adventure story, described as 'Black Belt Young Bond, Artemis Fowl with swords, Percy Jackson with ninja'!
Chris's book has also been shortlisted for the Red House Children's Book Award, along with Jenny Valentine's 'Broken Soup' and Sophie McKenzie's 'Blood Ties'. Pick up these titles from the Library today, read the three and have your say by voting online or in the Library - voting closes 11 May 2009.
